The Arts Society Stafford , founded in 2002, is a friendly and growing society, led by an energetic committee. Members across a range of ages are attracted from quite some distance away, but naturally centre upon the town of Stafford itself. They have in common an interest in the Decorative and Fine Arts covering history, architecture, painting, sculpture, furniture, gardens, music, drama, costume, literature, etc.

The programme of lectures (monthly except for August and December) plus occasional Study Days offer members an enjoyable social occasion whilst simultaneously enhancing their existing knowledge. The committee also organises visits and other social occasions for members.

All societies affiliated to The Arts Society (TAS) subscribe to the same aims and objectives : the advancement of arts education and appreciation, and the preservation of our artistic heritage.

We are welcoming visitors at a nominal charge of £10.00, at the moment. Try us out. We now have room for more members.
